Our Beliefs

About the Bible: We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God.

About God: We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that God is: good, loving, gracious, merciful, true, holy, righteous, wise, just, self-existent, self-sufficient, infinite, eternal, changeless, omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent, and sovereign.

About Jesus: We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ; His virgin birth; His sinless life; His miracles; His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood; His bodily resurrection; His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and His personal return in power and in glory.

About Sin: We believe men and women were created in the image of God, that they sinned, bringing physical death and spiritual death, which is separation from God.

About Salvation: We believe that justification by faith in the atonement of Jesus Christ and regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for the salvation of lost and sinful and men and women.

About the Holy Spirit: We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, which includes the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as an experience distinct from regeneration; His indwelling, by which the Christian is enabled to live a godly life; His supernatural gifting and empowering of the Church for its work, life and worship.

About the Church: We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe the primary agency for the work of God's kingdom is the Christian local church, functioning under the sovereignty of our Lord Jesus Christ. The church has been entrusted with the ordinances of Believers' Baptism and the Lord's Supper.

About the Return of Jesus: We believe in the return of Jesus Christ to consummate His kingdom, in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and those who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
