  • Steve Rasmussen - Lead Pastor

    Steve Rasmussen has been on the mission field with his family in Tanzania and Kenya since the mid-1990's, when he and his wife Janice started a ministry called Training East African Ministers (TEAM).  In March we called him to become our new St. Paul Lead Pastor.  After a short sabbatical, which will end in June, he will join our team 3/4 time.  He will continue his involvement 1/4 time with the work of TEAM in Africa.  Send him an email.

  • Ben Clark - Youth Pastor

    Ben is a graduate of Elim Bible Institute in Lima, NY, with a major in Biblical Studies and a minor in Youth Ministry. He grew up in St. Paul, MN, but has traveled to over 20 nations as part of a ministry team doing evangelistic and relief work. His passion and desire is to see young people fully reach their potential in Christ and make a lasting impact on the world. Ben and his wife Hannah have four young children and reside in St. Paul.   • Andrew Gross - ASSOCIATE Pastor

    Andrew is originally from Portland, Oregon. He started attending BCF way back in 1991 because he needed a church he could walk to from Macalester College. Since then he's been a part of almost every kind of ministry imaginable at BCF, including service on the elder board (beginning in 2004 through the present) and interim youth minister (2008-2011). Andrew earned a Masters of Divinity at Bethel Seminary in 2012. Since the fall of 2014, he has served as the church's Director of Discipleship, receiving full ordination as Pastor of Discipleship in January of 2016. Beginning in March of 2017 he was recognized as Associate Pastor and co-leads our pastoral team.  Andrew's other job is as a free-lance editor and writer. Send him an email.

  • Cherie Monge - Administrative Director

    Cherie attended Bethel College where she received a Masters in Psycological Counseling. She has been working closely with the All Nations Family of Churches for several years. She has a passion for connecting individuals to ministry opportunities that are life-giving and challenging. She lives in St. Paul with her husband Chris and two boys. Send her an email.

  • Liz Kimmel - Communications Coordinator

    Liz is a native of St. Paul, MN, and a graduate of Bethel College. She has served as Pastoral Assistant at BCF since 2002. In her spare time Liz enjoys writing Christian poetry and prose (check out her poetry page on the LIFElines available on this website), and is currently working on some educational projects for children. Liz lives in St. Paul with Cary, her husband of thirty-seven years. They have one son and one daughter, who, along with their spouses, have added four grandchildren to the family tree (two boys and two girls). Send her an email.

  • Sharon Doebler - Big House Director

    Sharon comes to us from Cloquet Gospel Tabernacle, where her husband Rich served as the Senior Pastor for many years.  They retired recently and moved to the Twin Cities and are now attending Bethel.  We are excited to see the direction she will take our kids as she trains them to be ambassadors of Jesus' peace to our city.  Send her an email.

  • Annette Bittner - Children's/pastoral intern

    Annette lives in Minneapolis with her husband AJ.  She sings with the Heart of the City Worship Choir and has worked with Twin Cities Justice House of Prayer and other similar prayer/evangelical ministries.  Her role at Bethel will be a support/learning role, working with both the Big House children's ministry and assisting the pastoral staff as needed.  Send her an email.

  • carissa Kjarland - youth intern

    Carissa is a native of Minnesota and received her degree at University of Northwestern St. Paul in the area of psychology.  In addition to working at Nystrom and Associates, she has been a leader with Radiate Youth for about four years.  Having led the youth this summer, we are delighted to have Carissa continue to be a part of the BCF team.  She has a heart for teens, prayer, and fun.  Send her an email.
