Outreach

As a church we are passionate about engaging everyone to use their gifts and abilities to love and serve others. We do this in many different ways, but here are a few of our regular opportunities:

Immigrant & Refugee Support
We provide clothing, transportation, relationships, and connections to helpful resources for these immigrant and refugee families. For example, we give welcome baskets to newly-arrived immigrant and refugee families that contain basic household goods like cleaning products, pots and pans, rice cookers, and more.
Alpha
The Alpha course is a practical introduction to the Christian faith. This 11-week course is designed to explore the validity and relevance of Christianity today. A typical session consists of dinner, a talk, and a small-group discussion. Alpha is low-key, relaxed and friendly, allowing people to bring up their own questions in a non-threatening, safe environment.

Daycamp
Every summer (in late July or early August) we offer a FREE weeklong day camp for the K-6 children of our neighborhood. Children participate in Bible lessons, outdoor games, crafts, dance, and worship every day. The theme changes each year, but the fun and learning about Jesus remain.
